I found this mat to be an excellent choice for the quality and price versus some of the more expensive branded mats. I use one side for prep and the other side post-bath so photos and videos are clean and sharp. Older dogs with arthritis are much more comfortable on this thick padding. It does get punctured by nails occasionally, but all mats do that and it doesn’t affect the function.

We're sorry to hear that our grooming table mat did not meet your expectations. These mats are designed for dog's comfort and not for protecting the table from their nails (just like the Pawmats) so they definitely get damaged by dogs nails (that's the point for the nails not to be on a tough surface so it's more comfortable for the dogs).
