Steps to Replace the Motor Brushes:

Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet
Slide off the back cover from the dryer
Remove all screws holding the two halves of the dryer housing together
Lay the dryer on its side while removing the screws
Remove the O-ring on the snout and lift the top half
No need to remove the mounts to replace the brushes
The internal filter frame remains in place during brush replacement
Disconnect motor power wires
