These are good quality. BUT, the longevity of sharpness is questionable at the moment. I've read from other Dematador users that the tool loses sharpness after a few months. This is important because 1) this brand is expensive and 2) no sharpness=no dematting ability=worthless tool. After using it on many dogs, the tool is effective, but I have noticed a reduction in sharpness. Dematador doesn't offer replacement blades (nor do they respond to my question if they CAN be sharpened) and the 3 sharpeners I use doesn't sharpen them. Because of the high cost, I may consider a lower cost alternative of this tool if it's a 'disposable tool.'
