Love this clipper and I’m grateful for a great company to stand behind this expensive purchase!!!

I’m very disappointed with these clippers…I’ve only had them for a month and one of the batteries shorts out. I’m constantly having to turn them back on……also it seems like they only run well then the battery(s), I bought the model that came with 2, are at 3 green dots/fully charged…once they go down do one green dot, they stop working. I have wasted so much money on andis clippers and wahl as well, at my wits end and now theses that have only 5 start reviews don’t work well, I’m starting to feel like maybe it’s me…idk customer service said to send them in to their team to look, but they made it sound like I will be charged to fix them…..very frustrating! I just want them replaced with a new pair! I spent nearly $500 on them and within one month they don’t work all the time!!!

So far, this thing has handled everything, including wide blades

Best clippers I've ever owned. They are light, low sound and low vibration and don't over heat. The battery lasts a super long time but I always keep my back up charged just in case.

Used a week and very happy with the performance. Light weight and maneuverable is the key for me.Also loved the color :)

I skipped the cheaper clipper options and opted for this one due to the quiet operation so I can't provide any comparisons to any other clippers. The opal is pretty quiet, but I still had to slowly familiarize my 90lb timid doodle puppy to it before his first haircut. I did not restrain him, and I let him walk away while I was clipping him until he got used to it. By the end of the first cut, I was able to clip him while he was laying on the kitchen floor without him trying to get away. For the price I hope the opal lasts for several years.

Wonderful product! I’ve only had it for a few weeks but my grooms are already amazing. I can go all day on one battery charge. Im talking back to back doodles and no issues! I would highly recommend this product!

Years of learning and watching other groomers, led me to these power houses. Quiet. Doesn't run hot - just needs a little more love in between grooms to keep it 100% like new. Service was quick here, I even got a hold and had call and confirm I made this purchase -ruling out theft. And I appreciate that. I opted for the insured shipping and had updates every step of the way. This company even gave me a FREE gift - and let me tell you - WOW at the quality of this shampoo. Thank you, after shelling out 100's of $ for andis five speeds, I am blown away at the grooms from these - easy to relearn. :)

I've been using the Opal clipper for nearly a year now so I'm prepared to offer a comprehensive review of their performance. I tested multiple cordless clippers at Groomexpo before choosing the Opal, and I couldn't be happier with them. There has been no decline in the performance of my clipper whatsoever in the year I've been using it, parts are all still in perfect shape and the batteries run like new. Yes the sticker shock is intense, but if you're a professional that's grooming 5+ days a week, you need to take care of your body- this means using ergonomic tools that improve your efficiency. The freedom of movement you get by eliminating the cord makes your wrist SO much happier! I'll be the first to admit that the Opal isn't the lightest clipper on the planet but I definitely wouldn't consider it 'heavy', it's about on par with or lighter than the bulky andis super 2speeds we all used at some point in our careers). The battery life on it is impressive! I got the set with two batteries and I can easily run for up to 4 days on a single charge. Having the second battery was important for me to maintain the health and lifespan of the battery- letting it run down fully before recharging, as opposed to just charging every night, will keep your batteries charging efficiently for as long as possible. And if you use wide combs/blades with this clipper, you'll become a grooming machine. My pace per groom has increased markedly! An important note for the Opal is you need to be good about your blade maintenance! OIL YOUR BLADES OFTEN! And use ACTUAL oil, not just clipper cool that you sprayed into it. The Opal utilizes an open motor that can be damaged by coolant or liquid cleaners if you're spraying or dipping your blades to clean/lubricate them. Find a video of how to properly oil your blades and do it daily! If you take care of your Opal clippers, they'll take care of you. I've been grooming for over 15 years and this is easily one of the best investments I've made in my career.TL;DR- worth every penny, but do your homework on batteries and blade maintenance to protect your investment!

Clipper is great much quieter than my oster volt and smoother. Shipping on the other hand may be fast BUT the whole having to sign for the package is a huge pain in the butt! 3 stars for that. I had to pay UPS an extra $9.99 to hold the package to be delivered on a day I would be home to sign to receive my clippers. Need to find out if everything you buy on here has to be signed for at delivery bc if so I will not be purchasing from this site any more.

They aren't really any lighter than my Andis cordless, but the battery certainly lasts a lot longer....plus you get 2 batteries.

Great clippers! Really changed my life for my job! I can't imagine going back to corded clippers. The first battery hasn't even gotten near to dying because the charger is so fast to charge in between uses. I'm really satisfied with this choice of clipper.

a co-worker had the Heiniger clipper and insisted that I try it. im so glad I did. they are so light and quiet. performance is unbelievable. so smooth. I was so against the wide blade and combs. well not anymore. this combo is chefs kiss! I can put a 2 wide comb over slightly damp, matted coat and it goes through so easily. it actually has improved my time to groom pets.i also was unaware of the signature required from the shipper (which I can totally understand) but it would have been nice to know. that would be my only slight complaint. thanks

Money well spent! I showed it off to my grooming teacher and he was really liking the performance, quality and quietness of the clippers and how they didn’t run out of battery or had any issues as his Andis wireless clipper did. I love using them! Especially the charging station it came with!

Love the clippers, hated the buying experience. The clippers were shipped direct signature required without any warning. This means that only the purchaser can sign for the item-aka they can’t be delivered to anyone else in the home (including my husband) or to my apartment office like other signature required items. Total pain in the arse and meant it took an additional week+ to get them. Had to be re-routed to a hold location which took days, and I had to go pick them up. Took way longer than anticipated and was an absolute hassle. Wish I had known how horrible their shipping decisions would have been so I could have ordered elsewhere.

I just got them, and I’m in love! They are definitely worth the money. You would not regret getting them at all. Definitely the best clippers I have.

A little long and heavy but I do like it after using it for a week. It is a little annoying to have to oil it-I so after each use and sometimes before depending on the blade. I’m trying to do it right.

My life as a professional mobile groomer is FAR better with these Opal HEINIGERs. They’re quiet, cut buttery smooth, light, easy to hold with small hands, and make my grooms look amazing. They cut through any hair type with ease. And the batteries last all day on one charge. I haven’t had to use a second battery yet and I do 10 dogs a day and mostly doodles. Get them!!Also, pet store direct was very fast with the delivery and it came in damaged and in beautiful packaging.

Love them so much you have to take care of them. I would buy again. And I am a groomer that grooms 7 -10 dogs and some cats a day

Love my opal clippers! Massive game changer! Definitely recommend buying this one with the extra battery! These clippers give me so much more movement, it's lighter and a lot more quieter! We live all the way out in Hawaii and we don't have any stores here that carry Heiniger so along with the set we bought the little oil bottle, along with the refill as well as all the replacement parts for the opal! They packed it all so beautifully in my opal Heiniger box and also came with a little nice card thanking us for supporting their small business.

So far so good! Loving the convenience of the cordless clippers. A bit pricier than our old Andes ACG 2 speed but the 2 speed and cordless well makes up for it! Super comfy in the hand and no more cord to get in the way.

I was very hesitant about spending the $ on these but I am loving them . They are super quiet too.

I love these clippers! I have been having some wrist issues from the cord on my Andis clippers constantly pulling down on my clippers so I bought these. They are very quiet, charge very quick and hold charge well, and cut beautifully. Highly recommend them!
