I LOVE the clipper, very quiet and long lasting battery. However I wasn’t impressed with how this over 400 dollar item was packaged and sent to me. It was standing diagonally in a box that was far too big, with no bubble wrap or any paper packing for protection. UPS does not handle packages with care so you can imagine the condition i received my box in. I was very afraid it was broken. I’m not ordering from PetStore direct again. If you want to order this clipper id recommend buying it straight from Heiniger.
Absolutely in love with this purchase. We have been using the Wahl wireless clippers and the difference between that clipper and this one is night and day! The heiniger clippers are much more powerful and it's nice having a detachable battery meaning that now I can hot swap between two batteries to always be operational!

AMAZING CLIPPER !!! Can zip through 6 dogs daily with no problem! Purchased the extra battery just to have a back up during the day. So far I haven’t needed it. Super quite and works great with wide blades and wide comb attachments. Highly recommend!
I LOVE these clippers ! I had/have the andis zrII , after just over a year the switch started giving me issues. I bought these and they are fantastic ! They mow through thick hair like a knife through hot butter ! They handle all blades, even the wide blades with no problem. I'll be switching all my clippers over to heiniger ! Pet store direct got them to me quickly and the membership saved me even more money !
By far the BEST clipper ever purchased! And Pet Store Direct was in stock, shipped the first business day, and arrived quickly. If you looking for a cordless or any new clipper go for it! You will make the money spent back in quality of grooms. ALL the positive reviews don't lie. Quiet, light weight, and powerful for all breeds. I am not using this for the dirty pre shaves but for the properly prepped coat. I am pleasantly surprised by the quietness, light weight and shape/balance of the clipper. The dogs don't pay attention to it and I have not had any wrist pain. (I can not use a heavy clipper, I have been loyal to the Andis Ultraedge for this reason. I find the Andis Pluse to be too heavy). No issues with the Opal but I have not had that long. Some blades may not fit right and need to be adjusted but that can be with any clipper. I use Andis Ultraedge blades and have not had any problems. Again the Opal is worth buying!
