I purchased the Flower Opal clippers as a back up to my Opal Clippers. They both do great. I am pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.
These are always my favorite clipper brand. I had my previous pair for almost 5 years. Unfortunately my assistant I’m training to groom overheated my motor so no brainer I got another pair! Absolutely love how quiet and smooth these clippers run! Sturdy, reliable, and they last. Worth the investment!
I recently converted to using heiniger from mostly using Wahl clippers, and oh my gosh the switch has been amazing. I had the Wahl km10 corded and it was fine for a while until the wire got on my nerves, got in dogs faces, and dragged my hand weight down. The heiniger clippers felt heavy at first but after a couple uses I can feel the weight that’s oh-so light and balanced. The battery has lasted me 3 clients with out needing to be charged in 2 days. The price is definitely not the issue, it’s understandable for how powerful and quiet these clippers are, I’ve never been happier and my grooms are less stressful on my wrist. I won’t lie there were a lot of features I was skeptical of, like the claim that the blades take longer to heat up while in use, I thought it was gonna require special Heiniger blades but even with blades that haven’t been oiled in a couple days I can shave down an entire small day and the blade will still be cold in some spots. The noise is another thing I was skeptical about but they are significantly quieter and vibrate less so running them on a dog head has been so much easier, especially with the older babies who don’t have good teeth. Finally, I got these clippers specifically for the ergonomics and the battery life which both have exceeded my expectations on, they feel very well balanced so you can pretty much hold them however you’re comfortable with and not feel any awkward weight on either end of the clippers, lastly the blade drive and whole blade area itself are very closed off which has made cleaning my clippers through out the day and at the end of the day so much easier.
