Pros… really light and surprisingly powerful Cons.. only blades by Joyzze fit the clipper

I wanted to do this review because there really isn’t much online about how these clippers are. I spent a whole week using, testing, and comparing to my other clippers. Right off the bat I would say theses aren’t particularly bad clippers, but taking into account the cost and their performance there are most definitely are much better products already on the market like this one. They are very light weight, sleek in design, very quiet, and feel nice in your hands. They are very small. Unfortunately they are ONLY compatible with Joyzze’s D-Series blades and what’s more is that these blades, to my knowledge, will not fit any other clipper you have. On the upside, the D-Series blades are technically the same size as other A5 blades, meaning you can at least use your regular A5 guard combs with the #30 Joyzze D-Series blade underneath. I didn’t notice any issues with charging or battery life. Now for the actual performance aspect. I tested these clippers on every part of my dogs against the Wahl Bravura and the Andis Pulse ZR II. Testing them with the andis was not a fair comparison as the pulse is regular cordless clipper and of course blew the Piranha out of the water(lol I had to) meaning the pulse was better. When testing the against the bravura I would shave one side of the dog with the bravura and one side of the dog with the piranha. Over and over I asked my coworkers blindly and separately which side of dog or which leg looked better, without fail they always chose the Bravura side. While the the piranha worked, I had to go over the coat several times to get a smooth cut, when I used my bravura the ease of cutting was way better. I noticed the piranha side looked more chunky and uneven, but when I went back through with my other clippers to fix it, not much hair came off. The bravura side was smooth and had a better finish overall. I tested these on every type of hair and on both regular and new clients. I tried and tried to get them to get as good of an end result, but it just wasn’t happening. All in all unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend the Piranha ($269) over other clippers on the market like the Bravura ($218)
